                       Demographics. Our format caters to Brides and Grooms in the 30 and up age brackett .

        It has come to our attention of the new trend of "Adults only" Weddings. The general consensus is that this format lends more

         to the success of the event. The adults are more receptive to a party atmosphere and feel "unincumbered" without the responsibilty

         of "BABY SITTING" during the event.     

         It's understandable that some people will take issue with this format and they may have a good point, but we must make this format

         available. We have experienced a 50% more success rate achieved by the "Adults Only" Wedding. It's even less stressful for our

         presentation, this is why our rates reflect a heavy discount for those who choose this option.  Of course, we will do receptions

        with children present.

        Other observations: also increase your chances of the event to be successful. Check this list and see if your plans could benefit

         with these suggetions.

       Structure - Having the event in the evening  /  Never on a Sunday (Fri or Sat is best)  /  Hold vocal presentations and toast to a minimum

       after the "party" has started  /  If someone has had too many drinks, they do not get a microphone  /  Music request should be

        only of a party, dancable style

       Music - Grandma wants "Big Bands", Bubba wants "Country", Teens want "Hip Hop" and "Rap" or "Hard Rock"

                    Mom and Dad want "Listening", then later old "Disco".  If you have the right DJ he can read the crowd, and have

                    enough sense what  to play as well as what "not" to play. However, the Bride & Groom set the music format

                    for the type of event they want.

                          The Riviera resort & Marina does have an indoor venue, but the capacity is 40 persons and

                          the DJ system will not fit in the room. However, it is cozy for a small reception and have the

                          dancing outside with a beautiful view of the St. John's River. Another plus is that there are

                          19 clean motel rooms for your out of town guest. This is not your Grandfather's Riviera, come

                          check it out.
